Rallies for Relief: Pickleball 4 All Supports NYCP

Pickleball 4 All is proud to support New York Common Pantry’s mission to reduce hunger and promote dignity, health, and self-sufficiency. Pickleball 4 All aims to raise money to support the Pantry’s array of programs working towards the reduction of hunger and food insecurity.

Similar to New York Common Pantry, Pickleball 4 All was founded with the goal of helping others. Their four main objectives—fostering community, creating safe spaces, challenging stigma, and learning the game of pickleball—mirror NYCP’s commitment to improving the lives of those around us. Whether by fighting food insecurity or breaking down social stigmas and barriers, we believe this partnership is a great match to help support those in need and create a stronger and more inclusive New York community.

New York Common Pantry reduces hunger and promotes dignity, health and self-sufficiency. NYCP has an array of programs working towards the reduction of hunger and food insecurity. Their whole-person approach starts with food provision through the distribution of nutritious, fresh food pantry packages (Choice Pantry and Mobile Pantry), hearty balanced lunches (Hot Meals and Brown Bag Meals To Go), and supplemental food packages (Nourish). The organization further addresses the reasons for food insecurity with case management services (Help 365), services for unhoused visitors (Project Dignity), and a comprehensive nutrition education program (Live Healthy!).
