NY Common Pantry Helps Fight Hunger Across the City
On September 22, 2022, Monica Morales of PIX11 News followed NYCP’s Mobile Pantry Program to a delivery at the St. Ignatius School in the Bronx. St. Ignatius is just one of the nearly 70 sites that New York Common Pantry delivers to through the Mobile Pantry Program. Born during the height of the pandemic, the Mobile Pantry brings food and Pantry services directly to community members in various locations throughout the city. “This van means hope for people,” said Johny St. Preux, a Senior Driver for the Mobile Pantry Program.
