Live Healthy! brings P.S. 109 students weekly classes that encourage healthy eating, active living, and mental wellbeing. Wellness Day underlines all three, with the 850 students and their families invited to take part in fun, engaging activities like Salsa Fitness, Strength Training, and Brain Gym, while following the school’s Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) mantra–Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Responsible.
